Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Benny Mac upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
Mr. Swan was slow to begin. Shelby's Magic and Benny Mac collided soon after the start. In Dee Genes, Kwazii, Naughty Cazza and Jumbo Jack collided approaching the first turn checking In Dee Genes, Kwazii and Jumbo Jack. Kwazii checked off Jumbo Jack on the first turn. Shelby's Magic, Benny Mac and Mr. Swan collided approaching the second turn checking Benny Mac and Mr. Swan. In Dee Genes checked off Kwazii approaching the third turn. Jumbo Jack checked off In Dee Genes on the third turn checking Mr. Swan. Naughty Cazza and Jumbo Jack collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds.
Naughty Cazza was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a sprain to the left wrist, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Jumbo Jack was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right triangle muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
