Steward's Report

Stewards spoke to Mr Delaroche, the handler of It's A Blast regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  It's A Blast last raced on 3rd December 2015. Mr Delaroche stated that It's A Blast is returning to racing from a right tricep and right bicep injury.

A pre race sample was taken from He's Panicken. 

It's A Blast, To The Galo's and Big Show Mullo were slow to begin. It's A Blast and To The Galo's collided soon after the start, checking It's A Blast. To The Galo's, Eren Bale and He's Panicken collided on the first turn, checking Eren Bale and He's Panicken. It's A Blast and High Mission collided on the first turn, checking both greyhounds. It's A Blast checked off High Mission approaching the home turn. 

High Mission was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to the left calf. No stand down period was imposed .
