Steward's Report
Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Starter, Mr. Jack Campbell did not act in any official capacity for this event.
Stewards spoke to Mr. C. Darmanin, the trainer of Not Broken regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Not Broken last raced on 23rd January, 2016. Mr. Darmanin stated that Not Broken is returning to racing from a left stopper injury.
A pre race sample was taken from Il Bacaro.
Supreme Deal went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Jazaan's Boy was slow to begin. Not Broken checked off Draper Bale on the first turn. Howies Flyer and Jazaan's Boy collided on the first turn, checking Howies Flyer. Not Broken checked off Supreme Deal on the first turn. Howies Flyer checked off Show Bag Carter on the home turn, checking Il Bacaro.
Supreme Deal was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to the right stifle and left metatarsals. No stand down period was imposed.
