Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr P Griffen, the trainer of Claretown Sam regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Claretown Sam last raced on 27 November 2015. Mr Griffen stated that the greyhound was returning from a left monkey muscle injury.
A pre race sample was taken from Wilma's Thunder.
Claretown Sam and Lektra Elusive were slow to begin.
Who's Driving and Baron Lad collided soon after the start. Taz's Man and Lektra Elusive collided on the first turn checking Taz's Man. Wilma's Thunder and Taz's Man collided approaching the home turn checking Wilma's Thunder. Claretown Sam checked off Wilma's Thunder on the home turn and raced wide as a result.
