A pre race sample was taken from Empire Entourage.
Aston Gaudi was slow to begin.
Back Road and Nitro Deception collided approaching the first turn checking Nitro Deception. Benny Mac and Lady Lurcher collided entering the back straight severely checking Nitro Deception and Aston Gaudi, Nitro Deception fell as a result. Lady Lurcher checked off Back Road approaching the second turn. Lady Lurcher checked off Back Road in the home straight checking Benny Mac.
Nitro Deception was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.
Aston Gaudi was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhounnd sustained a fractured right toe. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
