Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr A Steele, the trainer of Feikuai Polly regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Feikuai Polly last raced on 16 December 2015. Mr Steele stated that the greyhound was recovering from a back muscle injury.
A pre-race sample was taken from Lead Into Demise upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
Revision was quick to begin. Feikuai Polly was slow to begin.
Lead Into Demise, Able Chief, Dig Deep Bert and Mepunga Rosie collided soon after the start checking Dig Deep Bert and Able Chief. Dig Deep Bert raced wide in the back straight. Dig Deep Bert checked off Able Chief entering the home straight.
Feikuai Polly was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.
