Sacramento Sal was quick to begin.
Lektra Fire and Fearless Swan collided soon after the start checking Lektra Fire. Fearless Swan, Rockstar Troy and Mister Brown collided approaching the first turn severely checking Rockstar Troy, Sacramento Sal and Mister Brown which all raced wide as a result and lost ground. Tuffy Bale and Lektra Fire collided on the home turn. Gabrielle Allen and Lektra Fire collided entering the home straight. Fearless Swan checked off Quotation Mark in the home straight.
Sacramento Sal was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
