A pre-race sample was taken from Duff Bale.
Pink Shoelaces was quick to begin.
Hogwarts Express and Why Not Barrel collided approaching the first turn. Undeniably and Duff Bale collided on the first turn checking Undeniably. Why Not Barrel raced wide on the first turn. Mister Heeney, Pink Shoelaces and Hogwarts Express collided on the second turn severely checking Mister Heeney and Pink Shoelaces and severely checking Undeniably and Why Not Barrel as a result.
Pink Shoelaces was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left trapezius injury, left & right hind spike wounds, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
