Bella Shim, Shadale and Zinzan Brooke were slow to begin. Limburg Dan and Tuggeragh collided soon after the start. Bella Shima and Zinzan Brooke collided approaching the first turn. Fifteen Two raced wide on the first turn. Zinzan Brooke checked off Bella Shima on the first turn. Kelly Hook lost ground on the third turn. Limburg Dan, Bella Shima and Zinzan Brooke collided on the third turn. Limburg Dan raced wide in the home straight.
Kelly Hook was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
