Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Stellar Creek.
Emeritus was quick to begin. Stellar Creek was slow to begin. Suspicious Lee and Magic Reindeer collided on the first turn, checking Suspicious Lee, Puffin' Stuff, Stellar Creek and Maximum Dos, and severely checking Magic Reindeer. Stellar Creek checked off Robyn's Boy approaching the home turn. Robyn's Boy checked off Puffin' Stuff on the home turn.
Magic Reindeer was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained left foreleg monkey muscle, right and left hindleg quadriceps muscle injuries, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Meeting Comments:
Satisfactory Trial Results - Kokoda Dreamin' trialled over the 390m from box eight, weight 32.8 kgs, the greyhound was placed first in a field of four of starters. The time of the trial was 21:97, the greyhound won by a margin of 7.25 lengths. Kokoda Dreamin' was Cleared.
