A pre-race sample was taken from Murrabit Betty.
Murrabit Betty and Danger Bale were slow to begin. Ken's Thunderin', Lady Lurcher and Nirranda Ripper collided approaching the first turn checking Lady Lurcher and Nirranda Ripper. Lady Lurcher and Nirranda Ripper collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.
Nirranda Ripper was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to the right metatarsals. No stand down period was imposed.
