A pre-race sample was taken from Manhattan Man.
Buca Doll and Eric Jay were slow to begin. Heineken Girl and Manhattan Man collided approaching the first turn, Heineken Girl lost ground as a result. Eric Jay and Speed Alert collided on the first turn. Manhattan Man and Khimki collided on the home turn. Speed Alert raced wide on the home turn. Khimki raced wide entering the home straight.
Heineken Girl was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right shoulder. A stand down period of 10 days was imposed.
