Blitzem Cola was slow to begin. All Inn Together and Glen Quagmire collided soon after the start checking All Inn Together. Bob On, Destini Tenor, Glen Quagmire and Major Dollar collided on the first turn checking Bob On and Major Dollar. Blitzem Cola faltered approaching the home turn and tailed off as a result. Glen Quagmire checked off Shifty Lilly entering the home straight and raced wide as a result. Bob On checked off Shifty Lilly in the home straight.
Blitzem Cola was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right hock. A 30 day stand down period was imposed.
