She's A Freebie and Gypsy Wendy collided soon after the start checking She's A Freebie. Deadly Mabilis checked off Snow Bomber on the first turn. Le Grand Bleu and Deadly Mabilis collided on the first turn checking Deadly Mabilis. West Side Jet, Snow Bomber, Gypsy Wendy and Brace For Impact collided approaching the home turn checking Snow Bomber, Gypsy Wendy and Brace For Impact. Deadly Mabilis and She's A Freebie raced wide entering the home straight.
Deadly Mabilis was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right shoulder. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
