Stewards spoke to Mr. B. Gray regarding the direction that the greyhound Camelot Lodge be boxed first.  Acting under GAR 52(2) Stewards directed that this box first be removed.

Milwalcar and Pyrenees Dynasty were slow to begin.  Destini Firebird and Milwalcar collided approaching the first turn checking Pyrenees Dynasty.  Arcup Ollie checked off Superhigh entering the back straight severely checking Darley Millions and Milwalcar.  Darley Millions and Milwalcar collided on the second turn.  Superhigh checked off Arolok Hobo approaching the home turn.  Pyrenees Dynasty galloped on the heels of Superhigh approaching the home turn checking Pyrenees Dynasty and severely checking Superhigh.  Darley Millions and Superhigh collided on the home turn checking Superhigh and Milwalcar.  Arolok Hobo checked off Time Sent in the home straight and stumbled as a result.

Ice Cold Bundy was quick to begin.  Manelito and Ninja Zorro were slow to begin and collided soon after the start.  Jack's Prince, Neliel Bale and Specify collided approaching the first turn.  Specify, Neliel Bale and Manelito collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained Magic Gold, a post race sample was subsequently taken.

Corgi Cry was quick to begin.  Ayden Jackson was slow to begin.  Southwood Lloyd checked off Rufus Flywheel on the first turn checking Go Lakers Go.  You Won't and Go Lakers Go collided approaching the home turn checking Go Lakers Go.  Corgi Cry and Rufus Flywheel collided in the home straight checking Corgi Cry.

Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr. B. Jacobs regarding handler Mr. E. Wilson's difficulty in boxing the greyhound Corgi Cry.  Stewards directed that Corgi Cry be boxed first in future events.

Satisfactory Trials

Djays Larry trialled over the 390 metre distance from box 2, weight 34.6kgs.  The greyhound was placed 2nd, in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 22.41.  The greyhound was beaten by a margin of 3 lengths.  Djays Larry was cleared.

Carlanna Tegan trialled over the 390 metre distance from box 8, weight 25.2kgs.  The greyhound was placed 4th, in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 22.41.  The greyhound was beaten by a margin of 6 lengths.  Carlanna Tegan was cleared.

Stewards spoke to Mr. A. McNamara, the trainer of Panders Box regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Panders Box last raced on 13th April 2015.  Mr. McNamara stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after an injury to its left metatarsal. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Panders Box  trialled over the 390 metre distance from box 5, weight 30.0kgs.  The greyhound was placed 3rd, in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 22.41.  The greyhound was beaten by a margin of 4 lengths.  Panders Box was cleared.
