Spring Velox and Lido's Boy collided approaching the first turn. Milly O'Muffin and Pittsy Lomar collided on the first turn. Majestic Lomar raced wide on the first turn. Majestic Lomar checked off Miss Gilbert on the second turn. Lido's Boy and Solo collided on the third turn, checking Milly O'Muffin, Lido's Boy and Locky's Maroons. Milly O'Muffin and Locky's Maroons collided on the home turn, checking both greyhounds. 

Strawbs was quick to begin. Kenilworth Road and Let's Go Racing were slow to begin. Kenilworth Road eased soon after the start. Daintree Jim and Destinee Saint collided on the first turn, checking Daintree Jim, Let's Go Racing and Destinee Saint. Johnson Arandt and Strawbs collided on the first turn, checking Daintree Jim and severely checking Strawbs. Johnson Arandt and Demo Lad collided entering the back straight, checking Demo Lad. Daintree Jim, Johnson Arandt and Destinee Saint collided several times in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr. K. Mitchell, the trainer of the greyhound Kenilworth Road regarding the greyhounds racing manners soon after the start. Kenilworth Road was vetted and re-vetted following event four.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the thoracic spine, a five day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Kenilworth Road with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Mitchell pleaded guilty to the charge, Kenilworth Road was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Demo Lad was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the thigh muscle, a twenty-one day stand down period was imposed. 

You Can't Play and Addictive Luke were quick to begin. Jaimandy Hatty was slow to begin. Chivalry and Go You Girl collided on the first turn, checking Jaimandy Hatty, Aston Gaudi, Ahlenny and Go You Girl. Berri Lass and Chivalry collided entering the front straight. Berri Lass amd Chivalry collided on the second turn. Berri Lass and Ahlenny collided on the second turn, checking Berri Lass. Ahlenny checked off Chivalry on the third turn. Chivalry checked off Jaimandy Hatty in the back straight. Berri Lass and Go You Girl collided in the back straight. Addictive Luke and Aston Gaudi collided on the fourth turn, checking Aston Gaudi. Jaimandy Hatty and Aston Gaudi collided on the home turn, checking Aston Gaudi.

Seaside Daisy was a late scratching at 1:23PM. Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Pulis, handler of the greyhound Seaside Daisy. Acting under rule 86(0), Stewards charged Mr. Pulis with negligance as he produced the incorrect greyhound to compete in race four. Mr. Pulis pleaded guilty to the charge and was fined the sum of $250.00. 

Connemara Xav was slow to begin. Allen Jersey and Fine Cocoon collided soon after the start. Kayoko Magic and Zipping Phoebe collided soon after the start, checking Zipping Phoebe and Bobbi Delicious. Maggy's Impact checked off Kayoko Magic on the first turn, checking Maggy's Impact and Bobbi Delicious; causing Maggy's Impact and Bobbi Delicious to race wide as a result. Zipping Phoebe and Bobbi Delicious collided on the second turn, checking Zipping Phoebe; causing Zipping Phoebe to contact the running rail as a result. Bobbi Delicious and Connemara Xav collided on the third turn, checking Connemara Xav. Bobbi Delicious and Connemara Xav collided in the home straight. 

Zipping Phoebe was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Uno Sparti was quick to begin. My Regina and Dixie Anne were slow to begin. My Regina, Dixie Anne, Feel The Wrath and Strzelecki collided soon after the start, checking Dixie Anne and Feel The Wrath. Uno Sparti and Stan's Choice collided soon after the start. Dixie Anne checked off Strzelecki approaching the first turn. Anberlin and My Regina collided approaching the first turn. Anberlin and My Regina collided approaching the first turn. Stan's Choice and Anberlin collided on the first turn, checking Dixie Anne and Strzelecki; causing Dixie Anne to race wide as a result. Anberlin checked off Stan's Choice on the second turn. Anberlin and Feel The Wrath collided in the back straight. Uno Sparti and Robbie Lee collided on the third turn, checking Uno Sparti and My Regina. 

Call Me Gee was quick to begin. Crucify and Blingified collided soon after the start, checking both greyhounds. Coffee Elizabeth, Neurological, One For Me and Fairy Pretty collided approaching the first turn, checking Neurological and Blingified. Crucify and Blingified collided approaching the second turn, checking Blingified and Neurological. Fairy Pretty and Shake 'Em Off collided on the second turn. Crucify checked off Fairy Pretty entering the back straight, checking Shake 'Em Off. Crucify checked off Fairy Pretty on the third turn. Blingified checked off Crucify on the home turn. 

Neurological was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the left wrist, a five day stand down period was imposed. 

Back Slapper and Asa Ellwood were slow to begin. Back Slapper and Addictive Bryce collided soon after the start, checking Back Slapper. Oakstar and Mafalda Hopkirk collided soon after the start, checking Mafalda Hopkirk. Addictive Bryce and Mafalda Hopkirk collided on the first turn, checking Addictive Bryce, Asa Ellwood and Mafalda Hopkirk. Back Slapper checked off Gone To Texas on the second turn. Addictive Bryce and Gone To Texas collided in the back straight, severely checking Addictive Bryce. Asa Ellwood and Mafalda Hopkirk collided in the back straight, checking Asa Ellwood. Gone To Texas and Mafalda Hopkirk collided on the third turn, checking both greyhounds. Back Slapper and Asa Ellwood collided on the home turn.

Flying Merkerl galloped on Skyfire approaching the first turn. Skyfire and Absolute Silence collided on the first turn, severely checking Skyfire, Absolute Silence, Lektra Hombre and Minnesota Nice. Flying Merkel and Vanger Bale collided approaching the home turn, checking Vanger Bale and Minnesota Nice. Flying Merkel marred Zelemar Storm in the home straight. 

Skyfire was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left toe, a five day stand down period was imposed. 

Absolute Silence was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Flying Merkel was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right hind metatarsal, a fourteen day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Mccullagh, the trainer of the greyhound Flying Merkel regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Flying Merkel with marring. Mr. Mccullagh pleaded guilty to the charge, Flying Merkel was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sandown and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Pacific Miss went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Crimson Lily, Go Go Rosco, Alpha Nemesis and Shanlyn Hoss were slow to begin. Wendy Lew was quick to begin. Pacific Miss and Shanlyn Hoss collided approaching the first turn, checking Pacific Miss. Useful, Arabella Figg and Go Go Rosco collided on the first turn, checking Arabella Figg. Crimson Lily and Shanlyn Hoss colloided on the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Shanlyn Hoss checked off Crimson Lily entering the back straight. Arabella Figg and Go Go Rosco collided on the third turn, checking Go Go Rosco and Shanlyn Hoss.

Our Murray Grey was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained superficial cuts to the hind feet, no stand down period was imposed. 

The semaphor board was inadvertently cleared before the all clear was given. All information was retrieved and semaphored before the all clear was given.

Trigger Bling was a late scratching at 1:57PM on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to illness. A five day stand down period was imposed.

Our Miss Nitro was quick to begin. Kirabilli Myrtle and Waynewright collided soon after the start. Kalimna Sprite checked off Kirabilli Myrtle approaching the first turn. Alberino and Waynewright collided on the first turn. Ribacola and Our Miss Nitro collided on the home turn.
