Steward's Report
Seaside Daisy was a late scratching at 1:23PM. Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Pulis, handler of the greyhound Seaside Daisy. Acting under rule 86(0), Stewards charged Mr. Pulis with negligance as he produced the incorrect greyhound to compete in race four. Mr. Pulis pleaded guilty to the charge and was fined the sum of $250.00.
Connemara Xav was slow to begin. Allen Jersey and Fine Cocoon collided soon after the start. Kayoko Magic and Zipping Phoebe collided soon after the start, checking Zipping Phoebe and Bobbi Delicious. Maggy's Impact checked off Kayoko Magic on the first turn, checking Maggy's Impact and Bobbi Delicious; causing Maggy's Impact and Bobbi Delicious to race wide as a result. Zipping Phoebe and Bobbi Delicious collided on the second turn, checking Zipping Phoebe; causing Zipping Phoebe to contact the running rail as a result. Bobbi Delicious and Connemara Xav collided on the third turn, checking Connemara Xav. Bobbi Delicious and Connemara Xav collided in the home straight.
