Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. T. Alister, the trainer of Da Mishka regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Da Mishka last raced on 9th August, 2015. Mr. T. Alister stated that Da Mishka is returning to racing from sustaining a dislocation to the left hind toe.
Mr. T. Alister, trainer of Da Mishka declared a new weight of 33.0 kg's for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Da Mishka last raced at 31.8 kg's.
Mr. R. Boyce, trainer of Marly Girl declared a new weight of 28.9 kg's for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Marly Girl last raced at 30.8 kg's.
Blue Jager Light and Finny were slow to begin.
Da Mishka crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Coolan Girl, Nikita's Nitro, Marly Girl and Futurist. Coolan Girl and Futurist collided on the first turn checking Futurist, Marly Girl and Nikita's Nitro. Blue Jager Light and Champagne Dreams collided on the first turn severely checking Blue Jager Light and checking Marly Girl as a result. Marly Girl and Blue Jager Light collided approaching the home tiurn checking Marly Girl and Futurist.
Blue Jager Light was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
