Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. W. Mcneil, the trainer of Nancy Devoy regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Nancy Devoy last raced on 14th April, 2015. Mr. Mcneil stated that Nancy Devoy is returning racing from sustaining an injury to its monkey and back muscle.
Nancy Devoy and Brooklyn Cruiser were quick to begin. Dr. Peter was slow to begin.
Nancy Devoy galloped on Brooklyn Cruiser on the first turn checking Nancy Devoy. Loves It and Bolt Me Down collided on the first turn checking Loves It. Sonic Fear and Loose Affair collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds and causing Sonic Fear to race wide. Bolt Me Down faltered approaching the home turn and subsequently tailed off. Loves It and Dr. Peter collided approaching the home turn.
Bolt Me Down was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a dropped right back muscle, a 30 day stand down period was impossed.
