Cool Boots checked off Maserati Rev soon after the start. Xavier's Mate and Miss Fox collided approaching the first turn. Cool Boots and Forever Merry collided on the first turn. Dynasty Guru and Forever Merry collided approaching the home turn. Gunmetal Rebel, Miss Fox and Major Spoils collided entering the home straight checking Miss Fox and Major Spoils. Miss Fox and Major Spoils collided in the home straight. Maserati Rev raced wide in the home straight.
Maserati Rev was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right shin, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.
