Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mrs. H. Gates, the trainer of Queen Elsa regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Queen Elsa last raced on 22nd August, 2016 and is returning to racing after a back muscle injury and a subsequent season. Mrs. Gates also declared a new weight of 29.3kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Queen Elsa last raced at 28.1kgs.
Reminator was a late scratching at 10:55am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mr. D. Rhodes was fined the sum of $100.
Octo Burn was slow to begin. Queen Elsa and Mallard collided at the 100 metre mark.
