Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Martinovic, the trainer of Mega Secret regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Mega Secret last raced on 26th August, 2016 and is returning to racing after a spell due to personal reasons.
Yorgi was slow to begin. Big Roman crossed to the outside soon after the start. Chopstick Walrus and Jack's Miss collided at the 200 metre mark and again at the 150 metre mark. Mega Secret and Dee Tee Vane collided at the 150 metre mark checking Dee Tee Vane.
Stewards spoke to Mr. C. Russell, the trainer of Chopstick Walrus and issued him with a severe reprimand for his failure to arrive at the kennels on time to prepare his greyhound for racing, pursuant to GAR 46(2).
