Steward's Report
A pre race sample was unable to be taken from Juno, a post race sample was subsequently taken.
Vegas Again and Rainbow Ruby collided soon after the start. Nangar Range and Sassy Son collided soon after the start. Juno Away and Nangar Range collided approaching the first turn. Rainbow Ruby contacted the running rail approaching the first turn. Sassy Son and Dyna Flash collided on the first turn. Swift Trent and Allen Jabez collided approaching the home turn. Dyna Flash galloped on the heels of Juno Away on the home turn checking Juno Away. Dyna Flash and Vegas Again collided on the home turn checking Vegas Again which collided with Allen Jabez. Swift Trent, Allen Jabez and Vegas Again collided entering the home straight checking Vegas Again.
Rainbow Ruby was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left monkey muscle injury, a left triangle and right pencil muscle injuries. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.
Juno Away was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right monkey muscle and right groin. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.
