Rainbow Ruby was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left monkey muscle injury, a left triangle and right pencil muscle injuries. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.

Juno Away was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right monkey muscle and right groin. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.

A sample was taken from Nangar Range, winner of the event.

A pre race sample was taken from Brazen Blue.

Captain Pete was slow to begin. Violet Blue and Samba King collided soon after the start checking Violet Blue. Kraken Zuri and Brazen Blue collided approaching the first turn. Brazen Blue contacted the running rail on the first turn and collided with Violet Blue. Samba King checked off Aston Ah Chee in the home straight. Half Moon Rising and Aston Ah Chee collided in the home straight.

Brazen Blue was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the right hind toe, and injuries to the right elbow, left monkey muscle and right pencil muscle. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.

Latifi Sam was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left monkey muscle injury. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Pretty Boy Grigg upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.

Jetmag Gemstone and Major Bill collided approaching the first turn checking Major Bill and Tamile Lass. Tamile Lass checked off Jackdell on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Paull, the trainer of the greyhound Jetmag Gemstone regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Jetmag Gemstone was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left monkey muscle and the left pencil muscle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), stewards charged Jetmag Gemstone with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Paull pleaded guilty to the charge, Jetmag Gemstone was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

A pre race sample was taken from Clovalley Rang.

Beltom and Allen Jeer collided soon after the start. Allen Varmint and Sub Zero Magic collided on the first turn checking Sub Zero Magic and Allen Clown. Clovalley Rang checked off Allen Jeer approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Illiad Allen checked off Miss Vane approaching the home turn. Beltom checked off Allen Jeer collided approaching the home turn. Allen Varmint and Sub Zero Magic collided approaching the winning post.

Beltom was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right deltoid muscle. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.
