A pre race sample was taken Tear Away Kuda.
Tear Away Kuda and Shot Of Cain collided soon after the start. Crackerjack Bill, Mag Spring, Cee Me Burst and Dynamic Dash collided approaching the first turn, checking Crackerjack Bill, Mag Spring, Cee Me Burst, Dynamic Dash and Aston Odious, Aston Odiou and Mag Spring contacted the running rail as a result. Dynamic Dash raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight.
Crackerjack Bill was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left pencil muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
