Heaps Of Boloney, Little Caviar and Scar Deeds were quick to begin. Cowboy Love and Cosmic Medusa collided soon after the start, checking Cowboy Love. Eumeralla View and Sunshine Casey collided approaching the first turn. Eumeralla View contacted the running rail on the first turn. Cosmic Medusa checked off Scar Deeds approaching the home turn. Sunshine Casey and Wise Archer collided approaching the home turn, checking both greyhounds. Eumeralla View and Wise Archer collided approaching the home turn, checking Eumeralla View. Little Caviar checked off Heaps Of Boloney approaching the home turn. Cowboy Love raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight. 

Eumeralla View was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left front dew claw. No stand down period was imposed.

Dumesny and Premier Yap collided soon after the start. Dumesny and Temkoola Heat collided approaching the first turn. Temkoola Heat checked off Dumesny on the first turn. Boris Winslow and Thomeli Roar collided approaching the home turn. 

Stewards spoke to Mr N. Sheehan, trainer of the greyhound Hill, as it had not raced since 23 January 2015. Mr Sheehan stated that the greyhound was a new addition to the kennel and has recovered from a right groin injury.

Tear Away Lucy, Banate Express and Peggy Dooley were very slow to begin (3 Lengths). Pink Martini, Hill, Rene Love and Talanjee Stiff collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn, checking Hill and severely checking Rene Love. Talanjee Stiff and Pink Martini collided on the first turn, checking Talanjee Stiff. Tear Away Lucy, Peggy Dooley and Rene Love collided approaching the home turn, checking Peggy Dooley and Rene Love. Banate Express raced wide in the home straight. Pink Martini and She's Dee Rocket collided approaching the winning post. 

Rene Love was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left back leg. No stand down period was imposed. 

Banate Express was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left pencil and left groin, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mrs. J. Brouwer regarding her difficulty in boxing the greyhound Banate Express. Stewards directed that Banate Express be boxed first in future events.

The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Bonfire Storm and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 5:37pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr. D. Hammerstein was fined the sum of $100.

Eumeralla Magic was slow to begin. Arolok Hobo was very slow to begin (3 Lengths). Ima Trying, Heart In Motion, Thomeli Tiger and Arlo Bale collided soon after the start. Thomeli Tiger, Arlo Bale and Eumeralla Magic collided approaching the first turn, checking Thomeli Tiger and Arlo Bale. Ima Trying and Eumeralla Magic collided approaching the home turn. Thomeli Tiger marred the running of Ima Trying in the home straight. Thomeli Tiger and Ima Trying collided approaching the winning post, checking Ima Trying. 

Arlo Bale was vetted and after being re-vetted following event eight, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left hock, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Thomeli Tiger was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right groin, left pencil and spike wounds to the left front and right hind legs, a 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Taylor, the trainer of the greyhound Thomeli Tiger regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Thomeli Tiger with marring. Mr. Taylor pleaded guilty to the charge, Thomeli Tiger was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warrnambool and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Hashtag Danny and Macburner collided soon after the start. Southwood Jack and Quizmaster collided soon after the start. Macburner eased on the first turn. Pequeno Rayo and Hashtag Danny collided approaching the home turn. Jack Mounty and Quizmaster collided approaching the home turn, checking both greyhounds. Quizmaster and Bernmar Princess collided approaching the home turn. Bernmar Princess checked off Quizmaster on the home turn. Jack Mounty and Quizmaster collided entering the home straight. Pequeno Rayo and Hashtag Danny collided approaching the winning post. 

Quizmaster was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left front foot. No stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Walsh, the trainer of the greyhound Macburner regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn.  Macburner was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right wrist, a 7 stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Macburner with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Walsh pleaded guilty to the charge, Macburner was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Lynlea Jiddy was quick to begin. Kripke, Karagiozis and Cudgee Destroyer collided soon after the start, checking Karagiozis. Renstar, Lynlea Jiddy and Cudgee Destroyer collided on the first turn, checking Lynlea Jiddy. Cudgee Destroyer and Nook And Cranny collided on the first turn, severely checking Nook And Cranny. Nook And Cranny checked off Lynlea Jiddy approaching the home turn. Nook And Cranny and Up And Adam collided approaching the home turn. Kripke and Nook And Cranny collided in the home straight, checking Nook And Cranny.Karagiozis and Lynlea Jiddy collided approaching the winning post. 

Nook And Cranny was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration the the left hind foot, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

Due to a malfunction with the photo finish system, the placings for this event were determined by using the judges back up system. 

Mr. Snackman and Inventor collided soon after the start. Mr. Snackman and Inventor collided approaching the first turn, checking Mr. Snackman. Inventor and Rangatang collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn. Mr. Snackman checked off Specify approaching the home turn and collided with Teddy's Moment, checking Teddy's Moment. Inventor and Rangatang collided approaching the home turn. Inventor and Specify collided approaching the home turn, checking Inventor.

Etched In Black was a late scratching at 1:19pm due to a hock injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Texas Titan galloped on the heels of Fury Bale on the first turn, checking Fury Bale and Texas Titan, Texas Titan collided with Dyna Fatbob as a result. Dyna Fatbob and Fluke Of Fantasy collided on the first turn, checking Fluke Of Fantasy. Got Held Up checked off Fluke Of Fantasy approaching the home turn. Texas Titan and Dyna Fatbob collided approaching the home turn. Fury Bale and Fluke Of Fantasy collided on the home turn, checking Fury Bale. 

Cruisen Billy and Cerrone collided on the first turn, checking Cerrone and Sky Alert. Just Push On  galloped on the heels of Cruisen Billy approaching the home turn. Sky Alert checked off Cerrone approaching the home turn. Cruisen Billy and Just Push On collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn, checking Just Push On. Ima Harley checked off Say Again in the home straight. Sky Alert and Just Push On collided approaching the winning post.

Southwood Rose checked off Saint Jane approaching the home turn, checking Brickley. Mepunga Atom and Bally Diamond collided approaching the home turn, severely checking Mepunga Atom. Mepunga Atom, Snitzel Von Krum and Saint Jane collided approaching the home turn, checking all three greyhounds. Brickley checked off Southwood Rose approaching the home turn. Mepunga Atom galloped on the heels of Saint Oaks on the home turn, checking both greyhounds. Mepunga Atom and Saint Jane collided on the home turn, checking both greyhounds. Wolf Spy and Botanic Phil were slow to begin. Cosmic Jewels and Botanic Phil collided on the first turn, checking Botanic Phil. Pulciano galloped on the heels of Hurry Home Cain approaching the home turn. Happy Hudson and Red Sally collided approaching the home turn, checking Red Sally. Road Trip Blues and Wolf Spy collided approaching the home turn, checking Road Trip Blues. Pulciano and Hurry Home Cain collided approaching the home turn, checking Pulciano. Hurry Home Cain checked off Happy Hudson in the home straight. 

Botanic Phil was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left pencil and right quadriceps, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Crackerjack Bill, Mag Spring, Cee Me Burst and Dynamic Dash collided approaching the first turn, checking Crackerjack Bill, Mag Spring, Cee Me Burst, Dynamic Dash and Aston Odious, Aston Odiou and Mag Spring contacted the running rail as a result. Dynamic Dash raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight.

Crackerjack Bill was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left pencil muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
