Apollo's Surf was slow to begin. Shark Bite and Golden Lemon collided soon after the start. Honeypot Agogo crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Bear Affair and Shark Bite. Apollo's Surf checked off Sir Russ approaching the second turn. Apollo's Surf and Golden Lemon collided on the second turn checking Apollo's Surf. Bear Affair and Shark Bite raced wide in the home straight.
