Tekki Tinker checked off Changing Lights soon after the start and raced wide approaching the first turn. Tangam Flash, Dyna Lemmy and No Boots collided on the first turn, checking Tangam Flash, Dyna Lemmy, No Boots and Tekki Tinker. Dyna Lemmy and No Boots collided several times approaching the second turn to the second turn, checking both greyhounds. Changing Lights raced wide on the home turn.
