Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Zall Over.
My Lady Limonite and Cheerful Scout were quick to begin. Rozehill Skye and Cashino collided soon after the start. My Lady Limonite crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Cheerful Scout, Zall Over, Rozehill Skye and Cashino. Rozehill Skye and Cashino collided on the first turn. Lonesome Dude crossed to the outside and eased approaching the second turn causing Anjing Betina to race wide. Zall Over and Anjing Betina collided on the third turn. Cheerful Scout and Rozehill Skye collided entering the home straight.
Stewards spoke to Mrs. K. Fogarty the trainer of the greyhound Lonesome Dude regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the second turn. Lonesome Dude was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right wrist, a 14 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1) the Stewards charged Lonesome Dude with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment by reason of injury. Mrs. Fogarty pleased guilty to the charge, Lonesome Dude was found guilty and Stewards directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
