Every Cloud and Dr. Double Malt were quick to begin. Miss Who and Intro were slow to begin. Aeroplane Jet crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Dr. Poppel, Magnificent Pete and Intro. Aeroplane Jet, Dr. Poppel and Bandit's Girls collided on the first turn checking Dr. Poppel. Miss Who and Magnificent Pete collided on the first turn. Miss Who and Intro collided approaching the second turn and again on the second turn checking Miss Who. Every Cloud and Aeroplane Jet collided approaching the home turn. Aeroplane Jet and Magnificent Pete collided on the home turn. Dr. Poppel was checked off Dr. Double Malt entering the home straight checking Bandit's Girls.
