Steward's Report
The track curator advised that the track was medium harrowed on Wednesday 20th July 2016.
A pre-race sample was taken from Rangiora upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
Vectis Secret and Calvadoss were quick to begin. Rangiora and Zero Zephyr were slow to begin. Forever Merry raced wide soon after the start. Calvadoss and Podium Sensation collided approaching the first turn, checking Calvadoss. Hi Ho Geronimo and Yeah Mint collided approaching the first turn, checking Yeah Mint and Zero Zephyr and causing Zero Zephyr to race wide. Hi Ho Geronimo checked off Forever Merry on the first turn. Rangiora and Hi Ho Geronimo collided on the home turn.
A sample was taken from Vectis Secret - the winner of the event.
