Dream Of Fame was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right hindleg back muscle and right foreleg shoulder muscle, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr M Chilcott, the trainer of Greysynd Hawk, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Greysynd Hawk last raced on 28 February 2016.  Mr Chilcott stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following an injury to the right hock.

Gundy's Gold was quick to begin.  Yipy Mississippi, Pop Do It and Greysynd Hawk were slow to begin.  Gundy's Gold, Jazzy Diva and Pop Do It collided approaching the first turn, checking Gundy's Gold, Pop Do It, Jazzy Diva and Mighty Duck.  Jazzy Diva checked off Pop Do It approaching the home turn.  Yipy Mississippi and Greysynd Hawk collided approaching the home turn.  Gundy's Gold and Mighty Duck raced wide entering the home straight.

Colden Star was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injured right foreleg bicep, right and left foreleg shoulders and right foreleg chest muscle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mrs P Bryant, the trainer of Colden Star, and reminded her of her responsibilities in regards to ensuring that she fully clears the lead from the greyhound prior to placing it in the boxes.

Stewards issued a warning to Mrs P Bryant, the trainer of Colden Star, regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the home turn.
