Steward's Report
Tinker Pat and Navy Blue Buzz were slow to begin.
Tinker Norm (lost ground from the 250m mark onwards) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and after being revetted after Race 8, was found to have right pectoral and shoulder muscle injuries. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr. Craig Burns regarding the performance of Tinker Norm today. After hearing submissions from Mr. Burns, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards deemed the performance of Tinker Norm to be unsatisfactory. Tinker Norm must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132. Mr. Burns is also required to produce a veterinary clearance of health before any future nominations will be accepted.
