Tyrell Park was very slow out.
Red Danger and Booma Pearl were checked approaching first turn.
Salute The Wish checked off the heels of Hanika Bale on the first turn checking Caporella Bale and Rosemary Bale.
Caporella Bale lost ground as a result.
Salute The Wish checked off the heels of Rosemary Bale approaching home turn checking Red Danger and Booma Pearl.
Booma Pearl and Salute The Wish collided and raced wide home turn.
Red Danger checked off the heels of Rosemary Bale in the home straight.
Handler (A. O'Connor) of Tyrell Park had difficulty in boxing his greyhound, thus there was a slight delay before the green light was switched on. This occured due to starter (K.Hallahan) overlooking the instruction on his starter sheet that Tyrell Park was to be boxed first. Stewards spoke to handler A.O'Connor and starter K.Hallahan regarding this matter.Stewards also reminded starter K.Hallahan of his responsibility to note any instructions on his starter sheet in the future.
