Steward's Report
Sushi's Rose was a late scratching at 12.27p.m. on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to illness. A five day stand down period was imposed.
Em Cee Crash and Bing Bear were slow out. Lar Dee Dar stumbled at box rise. Bing Bear checked off Candy Power on the first turn. Jemma Belle, Surging Pass and Candy Power collided approaching the home turn severely checking Jemma Belle. Bing Bear galloped on the heels of Lar Dee Dar on the home turn checking both greyhounds. Candy Power raced wide in the home straight.
A sample was taken from Em Cee Crash - the winner of the event.
Lar Dee Dar was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right thigh injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
