Thanks Baz severely checked off La Nikita on the first turn checking Homecoming Queen, All Inn Bye, Why Not Nick, Indi Octane and Wendy Shiraz. La Nikita and Rusty Allie collided entering the back straight. Rusty Allie checked off Why Not Nick approaching the second turn. La Nikita and Thanks Baz collided in the home straight checking La Nikita. All Inn Bye and Why Not Nick collided in the home straight. Why Not Nick, Thanks Baz and Rusty Allie collided approaching the winning post.
Homecoming Queen was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left thigh and deep spike wound to the right front wrist, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
