Steward's Report
Lillipilli Lady was slow out.
Kiss Me Donkey and Mo's Dreamin collided soon after the start. Token Whirl, Uno Krystal and Quiet Bella collided soon after the start. Mo's Dreamin, Token Whirl, Uno Krystal, Quiet Bella and Lillipilli Lady collided on the first turn checking Token Whirl and Lillipilli Lady. Mo's Dreamin and Uno Krystal collided entering the back straight checking Mo's Dreamin, Uno Krystal and Quiet Bella. Quiet Bella checked off Kiss Me Donkey in the back straight. Token Whirl raced wide in the back straight. Lillipilli Lady eased on the second turn checking Lillipilli Lady and Token Whirl. Token Whirl and Lillipilli Lady raced wide in the home straight. Uno Krystal checked off Quiet Bella approaching the winning post.
Lillipilli Lady was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right shoulder injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Acting under GAR 69(1)(b) stewards charged Lillipilli Lady with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment and suspended the greyhound for 28 days at Ballarat and directed that the greyhound perform a STAT, pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
