Steward's Report
Slick Mix and Blown Cash were slow to begin. Blown Cash and Vintage Archer collided soon after the start, checking Blown Cash. Itso Special and Vintage Archer collided approaching the first turn. Perfect Roy, Weekly Puzzle and Slick Mix collided approaching the first turn, checking Weekly Puzzle, which faltered and tailed off. Itso Special and Magic's In Me collided on the first turn, checking Magic's In Me. Vintage Archer and Magic's In Me collided approaching the home turn, checking Magic's In Me and severely checking Vintage Archer. Pefect Roy and Itso Special collided in the home straight and again approaching the winning post.
Weekly Puzzle was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left shoulder and right triangular muscles. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
Itso Special was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a split webbing to the right hind foot. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Vintage Archer was vetted and re-vetted following event 10. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left wrist and left shoulder muscles. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards issued a warning to Mr T Noy, the trainer of Itso Special regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post.
