Blowfly Jo was quick to begin. Bristler's Patch was slow out. Turnout was very slow out. Bristler's Patch and Snow Surfer collided approaching the first turn, checking Bristler's Patch. Marine Girl and Big Wheels collided on the first turn, checking Big Wheels and severely checking Marine Girl which stumbled, severely checking Bristler's Patch. Burnsy's Style raced wide entering the home straight.
Marine Girl was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left wrist. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
