Dark Rhythm, Little Trendy, Carlisle Pete and Bear Noir collided approaching the second turn. Dark Rhythm, Carlisle Pete and Bear Noir collided on the second turn checking Dark Rhythm. Hello Bye Bye and Little Trendy collided on the second turn. Dark Rhythm and Bear Noir collided approaching the fourth turn. Dark Rhythm eased approaching the home turn. Dark Rhythm and Bear Noir collided on the home turn. Hello Bye Bye and Bear Noir collided in the home straight. Dark Rhythm was vetted following the Event and Dr. Y. Indrawirawan, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that she could find no injury apparent with the greyhound. Stewards charged Dark Rhythm with contravention of AGRR 80.2 for failing to pursue the lure with due commitment approaching the home turn. After taking evidence from Trainer, M. Patching, acting on their own observations and viewing the official video film, the Stewards found Dark Rhythm guilty as charged. Acting in accordance with AGRR 81.1, the Stewards will stand Dark Rhythm down from competing for 28 days at Sandown Park only and will require the greyhound to perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will again be accepted. Black Barbie was also vetted following the Event and Dr. Indrawirawan, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left metacarpal. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Indrawirawan, the Stewards will stand Black Barbie down from competing for 14 days.
