Steward's Report
Fool Of Aces and Mepunga Wish collided soon after the start. Oizdon Spice, Endless Pit and Jacarrest collided approaching the first turn checking Oizdon Spice. Endless Pit and Fool Of Aces collided in the front straight. Oizdon Spice raced wide in the back straight.
Stewards noted that Last Quoted convulsed on pulling up in the catching pen. Last Quoted was vetted and Dr. Narelle Cribb, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound was found to be suffering from hyperthermia with an erratic heart rate. Last Quoted was subsequently transported to the South Eastern Emergency Centre for further tests and treatment. Dr. Cribb recommended that Last Quoted be stood down from competing for 14 days.
