Steward's Report

Oizdon Spice, Jagabout and One For Normie were slow out. Lamarra Prince crossed to the inside soon after the start checking Oizdon Spice, Jagabout, Rebel Sky and One For Normie. Jagabout and Oizdon Spice collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn. Cooney, Baby Beige and Lamarra Prince collided on the first turn checking Baby Beige and Lamarra Prince. Cooney eased on the second turn checking Baby Beige. Lamarra Prince checked off the heels of Jagabout approaching the third turn. Jagabout clipped the heels of One For Normie on the home turn. Cooney was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent with the greyhound. Cooney was revetted with no apparent injury. Acting under AGRR80.2, Stewards charged Cooney for failing to pursue to the lure with due commitment and suspended the greyhound for 28 day at Sandown Park and also directed the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial, all tracks, pursuant to AGRR81.1, before any future nomination. Lamarra Prince was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound suffered a lacerated left fore foot, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
