Steward's Report
Proven Warrior was slow out. Mid City Mandy, Flossy Fling and Miss Keon collided on the first turn checking Flossy Fling, Shepherd Mover and Billy Young. Mid City Mandy checked off the heels of Glenticky Opal entering the front straight checking Glenticky Opal. Mid City Mandy, Glenticky Opal and Shepherd Mover collided on the first turn. Mid City Mandy and Miss Keon collided approaching the home turn. Miss Keon checked off the heels of Shepherd Mover entering the home straight checking Glenticky Opal.
Flossy Fling was also vetted following the Event and Dr. Carter reported that she could find no injury apparent with the greyhound. Stewards issued a warning to Handler, Brett Polson (representing Trainer - J. Polson) regarding the manner in which the greyhound raced approaching the finishing line.
