Steward's Report

My Century, Don Coco and Curly Eno were slow out. Curly Eno and Falcon Flex collided soon after the start. My Century checked off the heels of Don Coco approaching the first turn. Amy's Sonnet checked off the heels of Curly Eno approaching the first turn. Don Coco, Curly Eno and Falcon Flex collided approaching the first turn. Don Coco and Curly Eno collided on the first turn. Amy's Sonnet eased approaching the second turn. Curly Eno and Falcon Flex collided on the second turn. Curly Eno galloped on the heels of Don Coco entering the back straight. Curly Eno and Amy's Sonnet collided in the home straight. Don Coco was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent with the greyhound. The greyhound was revetted with no apparent injury. Stewards spoke to Mr John Galea, Trainer of Don Coco, regarding the greyhound's racing manners. Mr Galea advised Stewards that he was concerned about the greyhound's performance tonight. He stated that the greyhound weighed considerably less than his normal weight and could possibly be incubating an illness. Stewards were satisfied with his explanation and issued a warning regarding the greyhound's racing manners on this occasion. Amy's Sonnet was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent with the greyhound. The greyhound was revetted and it was found that the greyhound was showing pain response to both shoulders and no stand down period was imposed. Acting under AGRR82.1(d), Stewards directed the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial, all tracks, before any future nomination.
