Yen Galore checked off the heels of Kumta Smoke approachng the second turn. Kumta Smoke checked off the heels of Duchess Galore approaching the home turn. Token Lace and Little Jordyn collided on the home turn. A swab sample was taken from Token Lace, the winner of the Event. Subsequent to the running of the Event, Fungus McTaggart (weight 33.2kgs) trialled over 525 metres starting from Box 3. The sectional times recorded by the Judge were as follows: 5.35: 18.30: 30.86.

Dyna Ricky and Dyna Woodstock were slow out. Dyna Woodstock stumbled soon after the start. Promised Land and Dyna Ricky collided approaching the first turn. Gordon's Larry and Pam's Champ collided on the first turn checking Pam's Champ. Promsied Land, Hades Rocket and Ourgirl Tammy collided on the first turn checking Hades Rocket, Dyna Woodstock and Porcelain Doll. Dyna Ricky checked off the heels of Promised Land approaching the second turn checking Ourgirl Tammy. Pam's Champ faltered on the third turn checking Dyna Ricky and Hades Rocket. Promised Land checked off the heels of Gordon's Larry approaching the home turn. Pam's Champ was vetted following the Event and Dr. Michael Bell, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right front leg. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Bell, the Stewards will stand Pam's Champ down from competing for 10 days.

Miss Hayworth and Let's Go Irish were slow out. Limburg Leo, Flex Padilla, Card Night, Skinny Mocha and Acres Of Fire collided approaching the first turn checking Card Night, Miss Hayworth and Skinny Mocha. Acres Of Fire checked off the heels of Let's Go Irish approaching the second turn. Acres Of Fire hit the running rail on the second turn checking Skinny Mocha. Skinny Mocha and Acres Of Fire collided approaching the third turn. Flex Padilla and Major Eddie collided on the fourth turn. Card Night, Major Eddie and Let's Go Irish collided on the home turn checking Miss Hayworth and Major Eddie. Flex Padilla and Card Night collided in the home straight checking Card Night. Acres Of Fire was vetted following the Event and Dr. Michael Bell, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that he could find no injury apparent with the greyhound.

Storm Dancer was slow out. Marcus Bale crossed to the rails soon after the start checking Normandy Lad. Gun Driver and Draft Man collided approaching the first turn checking Ruff Nut. Gun Driver and Marcus Bale collided on the first turn. Gun Driver, Draft Man and Ruff Nut collided on the first turn checking Draft Man and Ruff Nut. Storm Dancer, Draft Man, Normandy Lad and Ruff Nut collided on the second turn checking Draft Man. Ruff Nut clipped the heels of Normandy Lad entering the back straight. Storm Dancer checked off the heels of Ruff Nut on the third turn checking Draft Man. Marcus Bale and Ruff Nut collided approaching the finishing line. Ruff Nut was vetted following the Event and Dr. Michael Bell, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right back muscle. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Bell, the Stewards will stand Ruff Nut down from competing for 5 days. Stewards issued a warning to Ruff Nut regarding the manner in which the greyhound raced approaching the finishing line.

Limburg Miss and Germina were slow out. Springvale Jinx and Limburg Miss collided on the first turn checking Springvale Jinx and Germina. Doug checked off the heels of Major Miner on the first turn checking Limburg Miss. Hunk and Major Miner collided on the second turn and again entering the front straight. Springvale Jinx and Limburg Miss collided entering the front straight. Springvale Jinx raced wide in the front straight checking Limburg Miss. Hunk checked off the heels of Major Miner in the front straight checking Germina.

Two Up Larry, Berman Bale and Dunmarra Magic were slow out. Sun Hero and Two Up Larry collided approaching the first turn. Pauline Shiraz, Evonne Bale and Dunmarra Magic collided on the first turn checking Evonne Bale and Dunmarra Magic. Sun Hero galloped on the heels of Kilby Supreme approaching the second turn checking both greyhounds. Two Up Larry galloped on the heels of Kilby Supreme on the second turn causing Kilby Supreme to stumble and severely check Two Up Larry and Berman Bale. Evonne Bale checked off the heels of Sun Hero on the home turn. Kilby Supreme was vetted following the Event and Dr. Michael Bell, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that he could find no injury apparent with the greyhound.

On Just Terms and Mepunga Assassin were slow out. On Just Terms, Explosive Flash, Kalimna Rose and Mepunga Assassin collided soon after the start. Hyde Park, Talina Bale and Fine Lad collided approaching the first turn checking Talina Bale and Superficial Pie. On Just Terms and Explosive Flash collided approaching the first turn. Hyde Park and Fine Lad collided on the first turn. Talina Bale and Superficial Pie collided on the second turn. Mepunga Assassin and Fine Lad collided approaching the third turn checking MepungaAssassin. A swab sample was taken from Kalimna Rose, the winner of the Event.

Jacarrest, White Tip Gypsy and Squidworth were slow out. The left front foot of Dizzy Rose became caught in its muzzle resulting in the greyhound racing erratically for a few strides shortly after box rise. Squidworth, Mepunga East and Pyrenees Region collided soon after the start. Bending Away crossed to the rails on the first turn checking Pyrenees Region. White Tip Gypsy, Dizzy Rose and Squidworth collided on the first turn checking Squidworth and causing White Tip Gypsy to stumble. Dizzy Rose, Squidworth and Pyrenees Region collided entering the front straight. White Tip Gypsy checked off the heels of Dizzy Rose on the second turn. Jacarrest and Al Fresco collided on the fourth turn. Jacarrest checked off the heels of Bending Away on the home turn.

Trendy Jack, Young Monarch and Sisco Buzz were slow out. Girt and Shawcross collided on the first turn. Amaroo Gift, Una Bale and Forever Grand collided on the first turn. Trendy Jack, Una Bale and Young Monarch collided on the third turn.

Timber Case and Babe Magnet were slow out. Zed Hot, Timber Case, Rich Heritage and Babe Magnet collided on the first turn checking Timber Case, Rich Heritage and Babe Magnet; Babe Magnet raced wide as a result. Doralynn Bale and Just Mickey collided on the third turn checking Doralynn Bale. Babe Magnet was vetted following the Event and Dr. Michael Bell, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that he could find no injury apparent with the greyhound.

A pre-race swab sample was taken from Night Soul. Black Rado and Ultraflex were slow out. Night Soul and Stevie Jade collided soon after the start. Wagsalini and Dixie Dunbar collided soon after the start. Heitiki's Champ checked off the heels of Awesome Bruce on the first turn checking Dixie Dunbar and severely checking Black Rado which raced wide as a result. Ultraflex eased on the third turn and raced wide checking Heitiki's Champ. Ultraflex faltered on the home turn and tailed off. Ultraflex was vetted following the Event and Dr. Michael Bell, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right back muscle. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Bell, the Stewards will stand Ultraflex down from competing for 5 days. Stewards charged Ultraflex under AGRR 80.2 for failing to pursue the lure with due commitment on the third turn. After taking evidence from Handler, Peter Riley (representing Trainer - George Dailly), acting on their own observations and taking into account the injuries sustained to the greyhound, the Stewards invoked AGRR 82.1(d) in lieu of AGRR 80.2 and will require the greyhound to perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will again be accepted.
