Steward's Report

Pure Thoughts, Amen Corner and Shot And Run were slow out. Pure Thoughts and Amen Corner collided soon after the start. Replicator, Hiawatha and Kara's Courage collided on the first turn checking Pure Thoughts, Shot And Run and Replicator, severely checking Amen Corner which caused Hiawatha to fall. Pure Thoughts and Replicator collided approaching the second turn and again on the second turn checking Pure Thoughts. Shot And Run and Kara's Courage collided on the third turn checking Shot And Run. Pure Thoughts and Replicator collided on the third turn. Pure Thoughts and Shot And Run collided approaching the home turn. Hiawatha was vetted following the event and Dr Steve Karamatic, the club's veterinary surgeon reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to it's right back muscle and hamstring. Acting on a recommendation from Dr Karamatic, the stewards will stand Hiawatha down from competing for 14 days.
