Steward's Report
Esso, Eagle Rocker and Cool Thoughts were slow out. Eagle Rocker and Farloe's Topper collided soon after the start. Farlow's Topper and Arvo's Ellie collided approaching the first turn checking Farloe's Topper. Eagle Rocker, Arvo's Ellie and Oh Reign collided approaching the first turn. Eagle Rocker and Farloe's Topper collided on the first turn checking Eagle Rocker, Farloe's Topper and Arvo's Ellie. Oh Reign raced wide on the second turn. Eagle Rocker and Farloe's Topper raced wide in the back straight. Esso and Pedro's Miss collided approaching the third turn and again on the third turn. Eagle Rocker and Farloe's Topper collided on the third turn causing Eagle Rocker to contact the running rail. Esso and Cool Thoughts collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight.
Eagle Rocker was vetted following the event and Dr Steve Karamatic, the club's veterinary surgeon reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both monkey muscles. Acting on a recommendation from Dr Karamatic, the stewards will stand Eagle Rocker down from competing for 5 days.
