Power Of Thor and Stomp Stomp were slow out. Taylor's Train and Blonde Luck collided soon after the start, checking Blonde Luck. Taylor's Train and Irinka Brian collided approaching the first turn, checking Irinka Brian. Pure Tonic, Stomp Stomp and Irinka Brian collided approaching the home turn, checking Irinka Brian and Blonde Luck. Pure Tonic checked off Stomp Stomp on the home turn. Power Of Thor galloped on Pure Tonic on the home turn, checking both greyhounds. Irinka Brian galloped on Blonde Luck on the home turn, checking both greyhounds. Pure Tonic, Power Of Thor and Blonde Luck collided approaching the winning post, checking Blonde Luck and causing Pure Tonic to fall.
Pure Tonic was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
