Maestro Jimmy and Dave's Rose were slow out. Kelso's Law and Dave's Rose collided soon after the start. Maestro Jimmy checked off the heels of Sweet Ruffian soon after the start. Maestro Jimmy checked off the heels of Kelso's Law at the 300mtr mark. Kelso's Law and Dave's Rose collided at the 150mtr mark checking Maestro Jimmy. Half Guiness and Sweet Ruffian collided at the 100mtr mark.
Maestro Jimmy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a lower back, left hip injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
