Steward's Report
A pre–race sample was taken from Yum Cha Jack.
Cheap Charlie [checked on the turn into the home straight],underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have bruising and laceration injuries to both hind legs. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr. Greg Berry regarding the racing manners of Cheap Charlie in the concluding stages of the event. After hearing submissions from, Mr. Berry viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.
Raging Cable [checked in the back straight],underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have bruising and laceration injuries to the left hind leg. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
